Baby Sling was born on Friday, March 20 evening in Melbourne. Weight 3.2kg, length 47cm and healthy.
Labour was quick. Checked in at hospital lunch time and my wife delivered at around 6 pm. I cut the baby's cord.
Got discharged from the hospital yesterday and now back at home coping with parenthood.
Only ran two times in the last 13 days. Spent the rest accompaying my wife's last few days before delivery, 5 days stay in the hospital post-labour, and now taking care of the baby.

Great news and big congrats to you and your wife. Enjoy the rest of your time in Melb
Congratulations! its a tough gig in the first week, and then the next 2-3 months is a massive adjustment, but its a huge blessing, all the best with easing back into some running, but first priority is to keep the family on an even keel at this special precious beginning...
Running prams, bike trailers etc in a year or two...Our Jacob runs around the park now chasing ducks, seagulls etc
All the best with the transition...good news!
good comment from Epi re the Kayanos...
Congratulations !!
My best wishes to your wife for a prompt recovery.
Do not be shy to go out and run!! anyway you will have that "small bundle" around for a couple of decades... so sooner or later you must tackle the issue...
